Irrigation and Water Resources
29 Years with UC Cooperative Extension
My research and extension program addresses water quality and quantity issues on the Central Coast including assisting with water conservation by agriculture, improving nutrient management to protect groundwater quality, developing and testing practices to mitigate pesticide and sediment impairments to public water supplies, and improving microbial food safety for vegetable crops.
My staff and myself can help with answering questions on improving water quality, irrigating more efficiently, or help you improve your irrigation system design. We also assist with nutrient management of vegetable and berry crops. We host educational trainings and workshops on these topics as well as provide one-on-one assistance.
