Enrollment Process
Check in with your 4-H club for help!
Enrollment for 2023-2024 is open as of August 15th, 2023
New Youth members: Find your club first! Call, email, or visit a club to find the right one for your family. Contact the 4-H offices or look at our club list: Monterey County Club List 2023-2024
1. Enroll on the NEW system ZSuites https://4h.zsuite.org/ Follow all instructions until the enrollment is submitted.
2. Make an online payment here: https://surveys.ucanr.edu/survey.cfm?surveynumber=41273
3. Check in with your Club Enrollment Coordinator to make sure both the enrollment and the payment have been accepted.
Returning youth members
1. Enroll on the NEW system ZSuites https://4h.zsuite.org/ Your existing family profile from 4honline will be there. Do NOT create a new profile! Follow all steps.
2. Make an online payment here: https://surveys.ucanr.edu/survey.cfm?surveynumber=41273
3. Check in with your Club Enrollment Coordinator to make sure both the enrollment and the payment have been accepted.
New Adult volunteers:
Please follow these steps to complete the process.
1. To enroll in 4-H visit: ZSuites https://4h.zsuite.org/
2. Complete the NEW VOLUNTEER VIDEO TRAINING process here: https://campus.extension.org/
3. Complete the NEW VOLUNTEER Survey here: https://forms.gle/QvCWEsZ3JgFy6wf77
4. Make an online payment here: https://surveys.ucanr.edu/survey.cfm?surveynumber=41273
5. All NEW volunteers must complete a fingerprint clearance using a 4-H process (Previous fingerprints for other organizations do not count). For those who have lived in California for the past 10 years, request a 4-H DOJ fingerprint form. For those who have not, request the special fingerprint form.
Returning Adult Volunteers:
1. To enroll in 4-H visit the NEW: ZSuites https://4h.zsuite.org/.Use the email you had with your previous 4honline account. Do NOT create a new profile.
2. Complete the RETURNING VOLUNTEER VIDEO TRAINING process here: https://campus.extension.org/
3. Make an online payment here: https://surveys.ucanr.edu/survey.cfm?surveynumber=41273

Misc. Enrollment Forms:
On occasion, families may need assistance to complete the enrollment process. Please review this from and discuss it with your club leader. Monterey County Fee Waiver form 2023- 2024
Modification of Enrollment:
- To add or delete a project from your current enrollment, use the Monterey County 4-H Program Project Update Form
- To enroll in a project that is being offered in a club other than your own, use the Monterey County 4-H Program Inter-Club Project Agreement
- To request a transfer to enroll in a different club within Monterey County, use the Monterey County 4-H Program Request for Club Transfer

4-H members may be dually enrolled in FFA and the 4-H program. To provide good communication between the 2 programs, please fill out this form and send to the 4-H offices.

- Please download and read the current MOU between the youth programs 4-H, FFA, Grange Agreement
Please note that these changes are not valid until the forms are recorded at the 4-H Office. No changes to enrollment information will be made without necessary signatures.
NOTE: the 4-H Fingerprint Department of Justice form has been removed to reduce confusion. Adults who have lived outside of the state of California will complete a different step. Please contact the 4-H office for the correct form.
