4-H Program
"To Make the Best Better"
Welcome to the Monterey County 4-H Program, we have approximately 400 youth enrolled in local 4-H programs and nearly 200 adult volunteers engaging youth in varied learning experiences. There are fourteen clubs in the county, covering almost all geographic areas. Our mission is to engage youth in reaching their fullest potential while advancing the field of youth development.

The Monterey County 4-H Leader’s Council is pleased to offer a post high school scholarship to graduating 4-H members who have made the 4-H Youth Program a part of their lives through their focused work.

The State Leadership Conference is set for July 25-28 at the UC Davis campus. Monterey County members may apply for a Leaders Council scholarship to help offset the costs of registration. Click here to fill out: Monterey Council SLC scholarship application 2024 .
